1.Customer account number and service number

Customer account number

Basically, the customer account number is a 10-digit number assigned to one meter to specify the location of water service.
This number is printed on the application form for starting water service, which people find in their mailboxes when moving in, water meter reading notices, the written receipts or bills for water charges, and other such documents.

Service number
The service number consists of the six digits from the third to eighth digits of the 10-digit customer account number.
A plate marked with the service number, as shown in the photograph, may be affixed to the front door of your dwelling. Check for this plate before applying to start water service.

2.Continuation of payment by bank transfer or credit card

If you move within the 23 wards and the 26 municipalities in the Tama Area, you can continue your payment of water charges by bank transfer or credit card after the move.
However, payment by credit card can continue only if the names on the contracts before and after the move are the same. If you want to change the name on your contract, submit a new application for payment by credit card.
